Storage devices (also simply referred to as “devices”) are physical or virtual drives on which media volumes, such as tape cartridges, are processed. Devices are grouped in clusters.

You can control this view by ordering items by Name, Device Count, Type, or Description, ascending or descending. Note also the Items per page value which can be useful when managing the display.

Media volumes in DPX are physical storage units such as tape cartridges or Disk Directories to which data can be backed up or duplicated. They have unique volume names and must be members of a media pool.
